I hate computers!

Hello everyone, I have a problem answering everyone at the minute because we have had computer problems at home. Also when I first created my blog at the top there was always a tiny little two word sign saying create post. Well it's gone and I don't know how to get it back. At the  minute I have gone on to blogger.com to write this and it is anyone's guess both how I got here and also whether this will appear on the blog. !!  If it does can I say thankyou to everyone who has visited me. Hello my new friends.
Also to everyone who came to the wooden spoon post and LAUGHED, How rude of you:)
My darling could not wait for a test run with it. It flipping hurts and has been relegated  (in my mind) to the same category as the hairbrush  - bleeping!
Hope this posts. love to everyone. Jan.xx

  1. Hi Jan,

I just waned to pop in and say Hi and congratulations on the blog! I'm sorry I didn't visit a little earlier. Rather remiss of me :(

  2. Hi English Rose,

I suspect that you no longer saw "Create Post" at the top because you were logged off. If you stay logged on, you will automatically get logged off after 14 days.

www.blogger.com is the place to go to log on, see your blog and write in it. As soon as you log on from there, you arrive at your dashboard, where you'll see your blog as well as options to create a post, view your blog, and do other things like change layout and settings.

To see if your post actually published, you can go to your list of published posts, or you can view your blog by clicking on View Blog or by pasting your URL into your browser address bar at the top.

If you need any help in figuring out how Blogger works, feel free to email me or ask me on my blog in a comment.

    Hugs,
    Hermione

  3. I didn't laugh at the wooden spoon. I promise...and I know better. Now, if you had been the one to go out and buy it, there would have been some chuckles.

I hope you find Hermione's comment helpful. It takes a while to figure blogger out but once you do, it's easy.

  4. Susie,
Glad to we're able to get your blog to post.
I keep telling Alec that spoons definitely belong in the kitchen. I assure him he doesn't need them with palms of steal. I've read enough blogs to know that wood is not my friend!
That said, he has found a site with leather paddles and found one he's fond of.
If it appears at my house and I go MIA, you'll know I'm on the run!
    Hugs, Catrinka

  5. It's not necessarily the computer. I know for a fact that blogger is a woman and can really be a 'bitch'. Our relationship with it is pretty much how I imagine our SO's feel when dealing with us when we are acting up.

Hermione is the guru of blogging so I'm happy to see she is here to help out.

Sorry about the wooden spoon. Told you, leather is the way to go. Much kinder (at least I think so).

  6. Hi Sunny girl, I much prefer leather and so does my rear end. After a particularly grumpy, stroppy, cranky day my hubby prefers wood :(.x

  7. Hey Jan - Sunny is so right regarding blogger but it's free so I can't get really riled.

It's interesting how many of my wooden spoons got too near the stove and got charred to the point where they had to be trashed...oops. ;)

    In the future remember:
    Wood is no good,
    Leather is better,
    A feather is the best!

    Blessings,
    Cat

  8. You sorted my little query out though ! So thanks. Spoon and hairbrush strictly reserved for my witch like days here. When sadly it is very well deserved.I take sulking to a whole new uber dimension. We had everything under lock and key and confined to the bedroom. That is until Ronnie decided to be 'helpful'and gifted me a spoon. How you can go off people.... Sarah,LD,UK
