Any Questions out there?

Hello everyone,

March is here, bringing spring (sort of), mad march hares, and the wind is still blowing.

Tea anyone?

Here in Blogland as opposed to Wonderland, March brings  something different. So.......

Please ask me anything, I don't mind what, but I am hoping someone asks me something!!

Hope you all are happy and healthy,

love

    1. Hi DF. My favourite style of dance is Ballroom. The Foxtrot is my very favourite dance of all. Favourite dancers are a couple called Warren and Kristi Boyce, omg they are so great to watch.
John dances sort off but I am afraid to say I tend to lead as he would be the first to admit he cant!!! He is not really keen, my boys both danced in comps so they are super to dance with. Oops sorry tmi, I am rambling on now

  3. Jan,
If you could turn back the clock to when you were first married, would you want to do ttwd/dd with your young husband?

    1. Yes I would but I don't think we could have very successfully. I think it is too difficult with children about in homes like ours. Also I think you have to have lived a bit and really know the other person to make it a success. Maybe we are braver now, and a little bit wiser

    1. Oh Sara, I think I might have just asked you that!!!! My husband said do you know what fish fingers are? the cheeky man.( They are breadcrumb covered fish that you mostly give to kids, in case you don't call them that).
I would say toast and marmalade. i would live on it if I could.
I like the togetherness, we are so happy now. My naughty husband said I liked a pink arse! He is off work with toothache and annoying me greatly at the moment, can you tell?

    2. LOL you made me giggle :) You asked me what my favorite animal was not my favorite food, but if you want to know it would be anything Mexican. I love salsa!

We call those fish stix :)

      Marmalade and toast huh?

My husband thinks I like a pink arse too. He's probably right the way I run to look in the mirror though!

  5. Hi, I just found your blog, so I don't know much about you! My questions are:

What has the been the hardest thing for your husband regarding DD? Was it something that came naturally or did you have to really convince/encourage him?

    1. Hi and welcome, he says the hardest thing for him was actually getting his head around spanking me ( he has the hang of it now though!). No I don't think it came naturally but we are always working at it

    1. Hi Katie, he says he would take a boat, a decent bed, books and me.
I would take him of course and a stash of books, some sunscreen and a blanket to snuggle up under on cold nights.

    1. Oh gosh Terps so am I , I never know what to say.
One thing none of you know is that I am really really scared of dogs, all dogs and would cross the road to avoid one

  10. Hey Jan, so, what is the most important thing you have learned in DD since you have started? And if you could do it over again, are there any major mistakes that you would wish you could avoid?

    1. Hi Esmay, we have both learned to talk about everything. As to major mistakes no not really it was very cautious in the beginning and we are long married and very used to each other. Maybe I wouldn't have bought the wooden paddle!!!

  12. Hi, Jan. I had other thoughts and questions until I read your reply about dogs! I'm so sad and sorry they scare you. :-( Do you know why that is? Did something traumatic happen, or is it just something you've always felt?

That gives me other questions. Do you have pets? If so, what are they? Do you like any particular pet over others, whether or not you have any, or have an animal preference in general?

I love that cat in the picture! Lol! I enjoyed your other questions and answers, too. Hope hubby's tooth is better soon. Hugs!

  13. Great answers Jan! If you could dance with any partner (living or dead), who would it be? Have you and Ami thought about getting your husbands together? Have you two got plans to meet up any time soon?

Hope your hubby is feeling better now.

    Blessings...

  14. Hi Cat, I wouldn't have minded a twirl with Fred Astaire, but really my husband is the only one for me. Yes Ami has suggested it , I am not sure how my hubby felt though, he looked a bit panicked. We hope to meet up in the summer but Ami has such a lot on her plate at the minute. Thanks he is okay now

  15. Hi Jan. My question is, would you encourage your sons to practice dd/ttwd with their wives?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Hi Leah, that is a hard question. I suppose if I thought they were in trouble and needed help yes I would. My oldest is blissfully married ( just over a year but they have been together for several years now. My youngest is newly courting,
      love Jan.xx
P.S. Would you do the same thing?

    2. Honestly, I don't think I could suggest anything to do with punishment spanking to someone else. If they found it on their own, I would be very supportive.

  16. Hello Jan,

I have a question for you my dear. No-one has ever yet managed to teach me a successful "fox trot". Waltz, Polka, Quick Step, Cia Cia etc are all fine, but I simply cannot understand the beat involved in a fox trot and always either lead Dan, trip over my feet or his, or get discouraged and flounce off the floor.

As we don't get to many dances these days, it would be lovely to learn "just in case". So my question is "Do you think you could teach someone like me to fox trot?"

    Hugs
    Ami

    1. Hi Ami, yes of course I could. It is easy really getting the slow quick quick slow beat. It is mine and my boys favourite dance of all. It would be my pleasure to teach you. xxx

  17. Jan, do you see you and your husband practicing dd when you are old. Possibly living at the senior center and being spanked over his knee?
