A Big Thank you!!

Hello my friends,

I am overwhelmed with all the support and messages both on and off the blogs that I have received. I am so grateful to Lindy for her lovely post and all the comments are so touching.  I have had a bit of  a difficult time and all your messages have cheered me up no end.

Oh how I wish I could throw a party ( in a bit , when I feel up to snuff) and invite you all. The friends I have made in our community are very special, it takes more effort to reach out to someone across the world than to pop next door (although I will admit to running out of vases over the last couple of weeks!)  and I appreciate all your efforts, truly.

Yep! that's it, exactly!

One of my Blogland friends sent me some pics to cheer me up. I thought I would share a couple

Thanks Maggie!!

Thank you all, I am  on the mend now, not liking to count my chickens, but anything is an improvement on the weekend!

If that was Easter.......

Hope all of you are well and happy and ttwding with joyous abandon.

much love and gratitude

Jan, xxxxx

  3. So happy to hear from you. Take it from someone who has been there...you cannot rush things, as much as one might try! A little more each day....

    1. Hi Abby, thanks, I am definitely not rushing things, if I go much slower I will be at a standstill! I think worrying about my mum isn't helping but somethings are beyond control aren't they?

  4. Hi Jan, after my surgury the quack said...slowly, slowly, you will make progress every day if you don't push too hard. Wise words that may be for you as well. It is wonderful that you are feeling better, but don't push too hard. Remember to have little rests when you need and get ready to catch all the positive thoughts people are sending...there go a few more from me.

  5. Jan.. glad to hear you are slowly but surely improving and soon you will be back to your usual self. You know there is something to heeding your medical teams advice. Take things slow or you will end up doing 10 steps forward and 20 backwards a dance that is not so productive. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

  6. Love to see you back here and I hope you continue to feel better and better. Please don't ever feel like you are whining or complaining here. Here is where we are supposed to come to get a little tea and sympathy! If no one else ever rants or even whines here, then I won't be able to when I need to. It's great when you're feeling great. But let us know when you're down too. That's what friends do.

  16. Hi Jan! :) Hurray!!!! It is great news to hear that you are feeling better, and on the mend too! It seems like it is always something, doesn't it! Never mind though- you are on the up and up, and that is what counts! We are all relieved to hear this good news!

Do take it nice and slow. There will always be time for some spanky business. In the meantime keep on with the hugs and kisses from your great fella there! If you want to moan- we are all at the ready to listen. That's what friends are for! Many hugs and love,
