Summer Spanking Days!

Hello everyone,

It is finally and definitely Summer here in England. Now it may not last but it is very hot!! It is hotter here than when we were on our recent holiday in the sun. I am glad to be home and here amongst the flowers in my English country garden, just relaxing and sipping the odd Pimms while I read about all of your antics and Casey McKay's new book, "Claimed" (Yay).

This weather is not particularly conducive to spanking however,
it is too hot to have the windows closed  ( we are very close to neighbours in our little semi!),
too hot to get into close proximity to another person ( we are too sticky. lol),
and  too hot to use any energy ( his not mine , I do just lay there and squiggle about like a fish on a hook to be fair).

I am not complaining about the heat though, I am enjoying being lazy and warm.

This morning however I got spanked for moaning about saying I was bored! Hubby says he is not  my entertainer and I need to stop making him feel guilty for watching TV or reading or just whatever.......

He maintains that every evening I complain that I am bored. I am absolutely, positively sure that this is completely untrue......................... maybe.

When he ordered me over the pillows this morning I was not keen to be honest,  I seem to have gone off the whole thing lately. Without a real reason, or some attempt at dominance I am not feeling it, just not feeling it.
I did comply though and a very unsatisfactory affair it was, a half-hearted spanking at best, especially on my part, I wasn't exactly an active participant, couldn't even be bothered to squiggle.

He did make me laugh though when he said his hand was a healing hand -

 to cure my boredom!!

I have to say it didn't feel very healing and I was quite happy to announce I was done and wander stomp off to the shower.

Yep, still grumpy, a few hours after the event, maybe it's the heat, maybe I just need a little sit in the sun with a very nice Martini! I know one thing I don't need and that is another spanking so I will very carefully remember not to be bored tonight. What was on TV again?....

Hope you are all having a great week and for my fellow Englanders, enjoying the sunshine, I think we better make the most of the next few days.

love

  1. I rarely say I'm bored. As a child this statement usually caused my mother to hand me a broom or a dust rag. I learned to keep my boredom to myself. My sister is moving and totally cleaning out her house - purging you might say. She's making me want to do the same. But I can mentally blog and write while doing so. I hope you stay just bored enough for another spanking.

    1. Hi Pk, I am not really bored at all! I think I have got into the habit of saying it, like a five year old, Lol. I enjoyed your post this morning, nice to see things going well

  2. So happy for your sunshine, Jan! :) Sorry that you get the heat and humidity to go with it though. I get what you mean, when it gets like that, who wants to move about? I LOVE that cute kitty pic that you inserted! LOL! Perfect!

Sounds like your hubby successfully fixed your boredom... well, at least successfully fixed your telling him about it all. Spanking in that kind of heat is no fun. I get that.

Hope that you enjoy a nice martini, and perhaps a good read, or some decent TV! Many hugs,

    <3 Katie

    1. Hi Katie, we have a hot day forecast for tomorrow too, it is so bright and sunny. Didn't have time to be bored today, went to visit the oldies in the home. They are all getting more bonkers every day and even though I go three or four times a week my mum has been telling everyone I don't visit her anymore, how depressing that I am that unmemorable :(. I definitely need a drink tonight!

  3. Boredom - I remember that from when I was a kid and when our daughter was a kid. Chores usually solved the boredom problem. I don't get bored now, I just take a nap. The heat really drains my energy and we get lots of heat here in AZ.

I'm enjoying it while it lasts. Try to keep looking unbored and see where it gets you. perhaps next time you'll be more in the mood.

  5. Everyone's moaning about the heat. We are never satisfied with our weather. I've been pottering in the garden today which has been lovely.

Nothing to watch on TV so don't forget, don't say I'm bored unless you want to be bent over again.

    Love,

    1. Hi Ronnie, I do like it, I don't think it will last though, not to be a pessimist but...
I have been sitting in the garden, that's about it for me gardening wise.

  6. Jan, I sympathise with you. I've been desperate for some sunshine but now it's just too much heat! Much too hot for spanking! Do you like music from the past? I've just discovered a TV channel that runs all kinds of oldies, my favourite groups from past decades. I could watch it all day if I only had time. Not at all boring. Freeview 86.

    1. Hi Rosie, oh bless. I am not really bored more unsettled. I can always fill some time in at the home! It was a long trip today but we had to laugh. Mum had a long chat to another dementia resident, it was hysterical and sad at the same time. If I didn't laugh I would cry I think. Still at least they both had a friend today

  7. Best to enjoy the nice weather while it lasts and forget about spankings for a bit. They'll be a nice addition when you can close the windows and need to be warmed up a bit. ;)

  8. Hi Jan, my mother in law also mentioned that having real summer weather is great, but this is pretty hot she says. :) I am sorry that the spanking session did not work out the way it should have, and I get you on either having a real reason or feeling dominance to make it work. That makes it much more real or exciting. But I’m absolutely keeping my fingers crossed that it will be a lovely and joyful experience next time, after some time to relax. The Martini sounds great, summertime is cocktail time, mine are only fruity and without any alcohol this year, but that’s fine. Wishing you a wonderful week!

    hugs and love

    1. Hi Nina, It is so nice to hear from you, I expect your life is very busy at the moment. I hope the girls are well and you are enjoying the sunshine too. I think sometimes the spanking is a bit lacking, just one of those things. Hugs to Tilda and Kate

  9. Jan,
I eliminate the word boring from my vocabulary, but I still feel it. Try a nice cool drink of your favorite adult beverage to get you through the heat. I am thinking of you.

    1. Hi Meredith, I don't think I am ever really bored. I think I say it when I am more unsettled than anything. I have always got plenty to do, at the moment it's just whether I feel up to doing it :(
Hope all is well with you and Jack

  10. Hi Jan, I would gladly take some of your heat right now, I'm with Lilli, enjoy it while it lasts.

I know what you mean though about it not being conducive to spanking and not feeling it. The spanky mood will return, until then, just remember not to say you're bored :)

Love the pic too btw :)

  12. Jan,
Even your post sounds hot! Did you ever run through the lawn sprinkler when you were a little girl? It is hot here, too, and I saw some little ones out playing on my way home from work last night. They were having so much fun.

We call these the "Dog Days of Summer."

    1. Hi Ella, yes I did and so did my boys when they were little, we live near a glorious beach and when I was a little girl my Auntie used to have a beach hut and we spent lots of time there with her and her children. Somehow our heatwaves are very few and far between these days. I actually think it is warm enough to swim in the sea at he moment, very rare for us.
We use that phrase too, no idea why!Hope you are okay and looking forward to your holiday

  13. Hi Jan!

Thanks so much for mentioning my book. I hope you like it! It's been unbearably hot over here a few weeks now. We keep all our windows shut tight and the AC blasting, otherwise I get too cranky. I hope you are less bored and less grumpy soon!

    stay cool,
    Casey

    1. Hi Casey, I did love it, it was a great series! We don't have AC ,no one does over here, it's usually cool enough, handy though for spanking if you can keep the windows shut!

  14. It has been a very hot summer here...we have already gone beyond the number of 90 degree days that we usually get. I am with a 7 and 4 year old (grands)...so boredom is totally not an issue...but a bedtime that gets earlier every nite sure is.

  15. Hey Jan, PK said she and Nick went skinny dipping the other day. That'd cure your boredom and the heat! Keep reading the new book. Maybe it'll get you back in the mood for a whole-hearted round with the healing hand. Ha ha. Amy

    1. Hi Amy, not many places around here to go skinny dipping! WE have a great beach but it's not empty enough for that! Over here there are not many homes with pools, England is not generally warm enough for that. Still having our lovely heatwave though. Hope all is well with you and Eric.

  17. Hi Jan: as it is July 28, I hope you have been spanked again. When I have been grumpy, sometimes a spanking does not work, and needs to be repeated that day, or in the next day or two.
We are fortunate, as most people where we live have central air conditioning, so hot weather is NOT a bother.
Hope your heat wave breaks to nice warm weather.
