Yep, I am all partied out!
What a great couple of days in Blogland.
I just want to say to all my visitors old and new
It was great to meet you.
I made a few discoveries throughout this party too.
Firstly there are a lot more English Bloggers than I thought.
However there are very few Australians
Sorry Lindy, you appear to be going it alone, no matter how hard we tried.
The most important thing I discovered was that out here in Blogland we know how to party.
(Jz, are you there?)
The biggest thank you goes to Hermione for organising this grand old shindig and to Bonnie for creating it in the first place eleven years ago!
Hope you all have a great week, recovering.
This is one tired kitty saying goodnight.
Mind you it is a spanking blog so......
Bye all, see you soon

Hello everyone and welcome to my Blog on this very special day in Blogland.
I am a fifty something happily married wife. We live in England and are both retired. I have been married to the love of my life for almost thirty five years and for the last four years or so we have practised our version of ttwd. As you are reading here I am guessing you either do , have done, or want to do, a similar sort of thing. I say similar as there are many different varieties of this lifestyle and I firmly believe that no couple does ttwd the same as another.
To sum it up for us, we are gentle ttwd'ers! I'm fairly good ( truly), he spanks for fun and frolics (mostly, although he has been known to use his developing skills to rein me in on occasion ). There are few rules and the ones in place are generally speaking not ones I wish to disobey anyway, hence most of what happens here is fun.
We have had our ups and downs, as with most of us out here it is very hard to marry someone and then goodness knows how many years later you suddenly spring on them your burning desire to be spanked!
How hard that must be for an unsuspecting partner, and then the relentless search for a meeting of minds, and hand to bottom!
It is no surprise that out here in Blogland friendships are forged , there is a need for advice, for listening and understanding and for acceptance. I count myself lucky to have found all of the above out here and with the gift of these we have managed to find a path through this lifestyle.
Occasionally I have found myself in a wee bit of trouble, I once told hubby to
"Shut up and do as you are told!"
Guess what that led to
Yep, you've got it. In my defence (weak though it was) I was tipsy. Didn't stop the spanking being one for the record books the next morning.
On a general basis though it's more like this, especially as I seem to want to please him more and more. I love fussing over him, even if it drives him mad at times. I love being
My favourite phrase ever.....
Yes, there is a bit of this
A little bit of this ;)
And lots of this!!!
Now of course today is not about us so:
How about you?
Are you one of these?
I am pretty sure I have a few lovely lurkers out there so today I would like to say how nice it would be to meet you and find out a little bit about your lives for a change. I am not asking for a big reveal, just a titbit, any thing you care to share. Please come out to play and say hello.
In return ,
Who knows, you might make some new friends today, I know over the last few years I certainly have, real life friends too not just ones at the end of the button.
To visit some of my chum's blogs just click on the title of the Blogs you fancy having a peak at on my Blogroll. A big thank you must go to Hermione ( Hermione's Heart) for organising today too. I suggest you start with her blog and she will guide you to the rest of today's participants.
We are all very lucky to have found each other, this lifestyle is not for the fainthearted. We are a community that pulls together in times of need, helps each other with advice and teases each other in times of spanking, lol. So today get brave, put on your party hat and come and join us as we have a two day binge of friendship and nosiness out here in Blogland.
Glass of Bubbly anyone?
After all it is quite a trek, around Blogland in a couple of days, I do find I need a bit of something to wet my whistle.
Hope you have a great couple of days,
love Jan, xxxxx

Hello every one,
Below is the post I wrote when I heard that Roz had been affected by the Earthquake near her home. Thank you so much for your wonderful support. Roz has posted herself today and is pleased to say that things are settling down a little. I wanted to say how great Blogland is, there for each other in the good times and the bad.
P.S.Don't forget it Love our Lurkers this Friday and Saturday!
See you there!
This has been a very unsettled week in the news and now our thoughts turn to another Country hit by disaster. A natural one this time, not one of man's own making.
One of our Blogland sisters lives in New Zealand and today this country has been hit by nasty Earthquakes..
I am not making light of this (Roz loves cats as much as I do). A small smile in a bad day.
I have been in email contact with Roz and she is safe, scared but safe. She doesn't live in the Epicentre of the Earthquake but the effects have been felt by all and her area has been affected as most of New Zealand has. While her home remains undamaged I believe work is affected.
Roz and Rick,
This is a time for Blogland to say a few prayers and send our love to one of our best loved friends.
Stay safe Roz, we are thinking of you and all your fellow bloggers in New Zealand today
Love Jan and John, xxx

I know it is early but we have been Christmas shopping. I love the shopping bit, the choosing things for my special family and friends. Ooh, and a grandgirl is the yummiest person to buy for, and there seems to be no limit to the things you can buy with Peppa Pig on!!
I absolutely hate wrapping things up though, all my parcels look like they have been dragged through a hedge backwards. Unless it is square you have had it as far a gorgeous present goes :(
Anyway I digress, the point of this ramble is to tell you how I managed to get an unneeded, unwanted and unloved freebie.
We were shopping together, remember this is our first year of retirement so hubby is with me a lot more often than not. (I am sure by next year his enthusiasm will have worn off, but hey it is very handy having him there for carrying and chauffeuring and of course I am like the Queen now in that I never carry any money.
Anyway I wanted two gifts from a particular store, easy peasy I hear you cry. Well yes it was , once I had finished faffing about and deciding which to choose I said I was done. Quite clearly I took too long as it gave hubby time to wander on his own.
"Hang on " he said, "There is a buy two gifts get a third free offer in here"
"I don't actually need anymore, I can't just ..." Then I caught sight of his face, recognise this look anyone?
"Oh good, I have found something I want", he chuckled and then grinning he held up his choice :(
He was so pleased with himself when he stated:
" Doesn't even have to be locked away in the toy box, just looks normal, can sit right there on the table, so handy, and a free gift too. Even better!"
Do you know something else? I don't even have to wait until Christmas for this oh so lovely gift. :(
I think maybe I will finish the shopping by myself after all, it will be less painful , lol.
I bet when I started you thought I was going to get spanked for overspending didn't you? No I didn't have to do a thing, he is just a sneaky opportunist in my opinion ;)
Somehow this picture sums it all up. I am assuming he is on the left ( I am no bird expert so this is probably wrong, humour me) and some how he just looks like he has had an in charge moment, looking down on her all stern and bossy like, in our case that would definitely be a spanking and she looks all snuggly and submissive to me. I just loved it.
Well that's how it is in the Rose household anyway.
Hope you are all having a good week and if you live across the pond may the right person get in tonight. It looks scary from over here so goodness knows what it is like over there.

I am wondering
Because we all know a few things for certain,
How accurate :)
Oh I am full of truths today ;)
If he doesn't agree with the last one this one will have to do, lol
With luck it will lead to this
And the most important one of all
Hope you are all having a good week.
By the way it is only a couple of weeks until we are partying again.......
My favourite day in Blogland,
See you there.
